Our Story

Jeff grew up in Carstairs, AB and Jenny grew up on Vancouver Island. They met at the University of Alberta and lived in rural AB for 20 years, where the established their company, Alberta Septic & Excavating. They now live in Invermere, BC and have rebranded their company to LEGACY CONTRACTING. Both are smart and work very hard. Jeff has two degrees (BPE/BEd) and attending NAIT for technical training in the trades. Along with being a certified septic system designer and installer in both BC and AB, Jeff has experience as a general contractor and has developed acreages start to finish. Jeff has been running equipment for 25 years! He has installed over 200 Septic Systems of various designs and his wealth of knowledge, experience, and skill navigating developments is proactive, environmentally ethical and cost effective. Jeff has dug countless basements, waterlines, electrical lines, and drainage systems. Jeff's vision and guidance is of high value and when you hire him the job gets done right! Jenny, his amazing wife is the brains behind all the administration.
